Hello all! Well, I think we've decided to go ahead and do Tuesday, July 3rd for the neighborhood party. Corey and Clay have already ordered 2 pallets of fireworks - BIG ONES! So we are asking fellow neighbors that plan on coming to pitch in 50$ to 75$ for the spectacular show they are going to provide. You can deliver your money in advance to Clay Aholt or Corey Bryan.
Also, due to the fact that the field is really dry, and there are no houses at the bottom of the hill, how does blocking the street at the top of the hill, in front of the Doerhoff's sound? That way if we need to run in and get stuff a house will be handy, and you won't have to stumble up the hill at the end of the night. We can shoot fireworks off on the new road somewhere. Corey plans on having his irrigation truck handy as well just in case. Hopefully we won't need it.
Does anyone have canopies we can put up? We can bring a few tables and the grill up, any other volunteers? Bring your own beer, chairs and food for dinner, we can throw it all on the grill.
Will be a great time and hopefully all will be able to join us!
